Deadly bridge collapse at Florida International University

A newly installed pedestrian bridge connecting the campus of Florida International University with the city of Sweetwater, west of Miami, collapsed March 15, 2018, crushing cars on the roadway below and resulting in at least six deaths, according to Miami-Dade Fire Chief Dave Downey.
